Memoirs, family cookbooks and handwritten manuscripts sit unfinished in drawers.

• Seven kinds of book, including memoir, cookbook and "shoebox", where an existing handwritten manuscript is transcribed and typeset.
• Chapter-by-chapter interviews, dictation in the browser and Word import.
• A page-turning reader, three versions of each chapter and full version history.
• Editor invites, and PDF and EPUB export.

• Claude Haiku asks the follow-up questions.
• Claude Sonnet transcribes handwriting. Testing showed the cheaper model misread handwriting without flagging it, so I moved the job up a tier.
• Claude Opus writes the prose and re-checks the pages the transcriber flags.
